Business Strategist Intern

High Point Supply Co. is currently seeking applications for a Business Strategist Intern. As a Dallas-born start-up we are looking for someone who is willing to aid in the growth of our brand and willing to grow with us. HP Supply Co. is a Gospel-centered, for-profit social business that discovers and develops goods that tell a story of grace and redemption. Our heart is to focus on products that help buyers become conscious consumers and provide them the opportunity to fight poverty and injustice around the world through their purchases.

Our team has the “all hands on deck” mentality knowing that no task is too big or small. We are looking for energetic, detail oriented, outgoing individual interested in business strategy, merchandising, customer relations, and sales. Intern will participate in a variety of aspects related to growing the High Point Supply Co. brand. This internship is a part-time staff position with a commitment of 15-20 hours per week. The position is unpaid, but will receive college credit.

What we are looking for:

    Candidates must be enrolled in college and receive college credit for this position

    A background in business, entrepreneurship, retail merchandising, or communications

    Strong oral and written communication skills

    Must be available to work on the weekends for events/holidays

    Must be able to work independently, learn quickly and be self-motivated

    High level of comfort and professionalism while having to interact with new people on a daily basis

    Must have reliable transportation to and from office location

Internship responsibilities:

    Further develop programs for the business

    Assist with reporting and strategy

    Reach out to current and potential partners

    Effective customer relationship skills including track record of reliability and timeliness

    Demonstrate honesty, enthusiasm and commitment to increasing clientele

    Juggle multiple projects and responsibilities at once

    Must have skills in at least one graphic design software

    Design ads, posts, flyers, etc.

    Assist with social media content coordination

    Reach out to current and potential partners

    Effective customer relationship skills including track record of reliability and timeliness

    Demonstrate honesty, enthusiasm and commitment to increasing clientele

    Juggle multiple projects and responsibilities at once

    Manage the setup and execution of social media posts/stories

    Assist with reporting and strategy
